Woodley Town Council has 25 Town Councillors, each representing a local ward.
Town Councillors are volunteers and are not paid for their work.
Councillors are elected every four years. Each year the Council elects a Town Mayor and Chairman of the Council. The Full Council and it’s various Committees meet regularly throughout the year. These meetings are publicised and are open to the public.
Town Councillors must act in accordance with the Code of Conduct, which is set out in the Council’s Standing Orders.
