Facilities
The facilities at Woodford Park Leisure Centre include:
Sports Hall
Our bright airy Sports Hall has a sprung wooden floor and is marked out with 5 badminton courts as well as short tennis courts and netball pitches
The hall can be used for a wide variety of activities including children's parties and martial arts
Function Room
Our Function Room can be used for hosting large activities such as Engagements, Wedding Receptions, Birthday Parties and meetings
The Function Room can also be split into two smaller rooms, the Tea Room and the Games room. These can be used for smaller occasions such as Children's Birthday Parties or even for smaller clubs and groups such as Pilates
The Tea Room is also equipped with a kitchen area that can be used to prepare and serve cold food
For an additional fee a Skittle Alley can be set up when hiring the Function Room to provide something different and entertaining
When booking you can also request a bar license to enable you to purchase drinks direct from the Inn on the Park!
Committee Rooms
The Committee Rooms are ideal for hosting smaller meetings or club events
If you are planning to host a larger meeting both rooms can be combined to provide more space
Hard Surface Area
Outside we have a Hard Surface Area which can be used for Tennis, Netball and Football!
Floodlights are available for those who fancy a match in the evening!
Bowls Green
Our Bowls Green is used during the summer by our resident Bowls Club who are always looking for new members to join!
Alternately you can hire out the Green to play with friends and family during the day!
Play Area and Paddling Pool
Our Children's Play Area is open to the public all year round and keeps children entertained for hours!
Our Paddling Pool is open during the Summer only but is a great way for kids to have fun and play on a hot day!
Please note that both the Play Area and Paddling Pool are unsupervised
Football and Cricket Pitches
Our grass pitches are available all year round
Changing Rooms are available and nets and corner flags are provided for Football Matches
Hire
All of our facilities are available to hire at very competitive rates for both one off bookings and regular clubs
