Eat 4 HealthFollowing the success of the initial scheme, as
detailed below, Woodley Town Council in partnership with Berkshre NHS are
running a second Eat 4 Health scheme.
The program will run again at the
Oakwood Centre for twelve weeks from the 21st January 2010.
The hour and a
half sessions will be split into 2 parts, half for weight loss discussion to
help participants eat well and lose weight, the second half will be a gentle
walk, perfect for burning calories and ideal for those new to exercise.
On
completing the course there will be further hour long follow up sessions after
18 weeks, 24 weeks and 6 months.
The cost of the session is £3.50, a
concession rate is available.

Eat 4 Health Pilot Scheme - October 2009We are currently working
in partnership with Berkshire NHS towards setting up an ‘Eat for Health’ GP
Referral Scheme to run in Woodley from the New Year.
In preparation for this
new initiative we will jointly be running a pilot scheme, a twelve week program
that will start on 1 October at the Oakwood Centre.
The hour and a half

perfect for burning calories and ideal for those new to exercise.
On
completing the course there will be further hour long follow up sessions after

concessions will pay £2.00.
