Due to the national shortage of HGV drivers, Wokingham Borough Council has suspended its garden waste service until Friday 29 October.
The Borough Council is working closely with Veolia to minimise disruption as much as possible and is prioritising the collection of food waste, rubbish and recycling for the next month.
The service will be automatically extended by four weeks at the end of the current contract from 1 May to 29 May 2022, to make up for the next two collections.
